Clara Riddle Obituary

RIDDLE,
Clara A.
(Age 93)

Passed away peacefully in her home on February 10, 2011. She was born in Cayuga, ND on July 28, 1917. She had six brothers and sisters. After she moved to Spokane she met Chet Riddle, and they married in 1943. Clara was a wonderful mother, homemaker, and worked at Spokanite Dry Cleaners on Garland for several years. Her life revolved around her family. She enjoyed gardening, her rose garden, and feeding the birds and squirrels of the neighborhood.
Clara is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Dick Vandervert; granddaughters Debbie (Steve) Cozzetto, Rhonda (Matt) McGee; grandsons Robby and Randy Riddle. Also great-grandchildren Michelina, Jared, and Jovan Cozzetto. Loving her like a mother were nieces Clarice (Jim) Dent, Sharon (Rick) Weijo, and nephew David (Janet) Creal and their children. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Chet Riddle; son Chuck (Sharon) Riddle, several relatives and their dog Chelsie.
Special thanks to long term caregivers Shari Lippencott and Lorri Price, we thank you so much for all you did for mom and us. A private family service was held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Clara to Spokane Guild School, 2118 W. Garland, 99205 / Hospice of Spokane, P.O. Box 2215, 99210 or Alzheimer's Association Inland NW, 910 W. 5th Ave. Ste #256, 99204.
We will miss you mom, grandma and Ninnie!
