I only had the privilege of meeting Dave Favor once. I was one of those lost children in a mental hospital that was able to be placed in victor youth services in Redding California. I can truly say that if it was not for that group home I don´t know where I would be today. They really did work miracles for me and I am grateful to them and to the chance that Dave gave me every day. Rest In Peace Dave. I will never forget you.

Dave always practiced what he preached and listened to his heart regarding all important decisions. His compassion, care, and love for children since 1968 has changed the lives of so many of our precious children that we have had in our care. I will continue to carry the torch lit so many years ago by Dave and will always give our children the absolute best of care and compassion in memory and respect to Dave. John DuBois

David (Grandpa) will forever be in my heart as one of the most generous and compassionate men I have ever known. My memory of him is flooded by plane rides, boating trips and numerous hours spent with him at Victor Treatment Centers. He had a playful spirit and I will always remember him involving me in his trouble making.
Rest in Peace Grandpa I love you.

Dave you touched so many lives and will be sadly missed. Your philosophy to work under was greatly appreciated by so many. My prayers are with your family.

We so honor and respect the Favor family for the tender, loving care given to Dave in his last weeks. We are keeping all of you in our prayers as everyone adjusts to life without this great man. We also know Dave is flying on another "plane", already creating good with a new vision in a different dimension!

What a wonderfully lived life. The Bible says, 'True religion is this, to care for the widows and orphans.' David made a difference in the lives of many children, who have grown up to be today's citizens and leaders.
