To the Family of Don: It is with a heavy heart that I am unable to attend the Memorial Service. I was a childhood playmate, classmate with all 12 years together in the same
classroom. We grew up within a 100 yards of each other. We went to different colleges after high school. He to Whitworth U. and me to University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. We were in the Army at the same time, he in the states and I went to Italy. We would occasionally get together for a 'cup of coffee at McDonalds' and we both truley enjoyed the 3 hour coffee breaks. We just did not do it often enough.
Knowing of his medical concerns, I found my thoughts and prayers settled on him often. Life for him was tough and had many obstacles. He often found himself in strage, unfamilar places, but alas he found his way back home to Spokane. . . appropriate for his final resting place. He will continue to be thought of often, but with the assurance his sprit is at rest now. God bless all of you in the family, you were faithful siblings and kin. Chuck Morris
