Walter and Dorothy were devoted parents and very involved in the lives of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Walter was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Both enjoyed years of travel. They were born and raised in Kingman County, KS. Walter was born to Mr. and Mrs. I.N. Kiger. Dorothy to Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Knoblock (Hess).
They were married October 26, 1941 in Kansas. While living in KS they had one son and three daughters. Then moved to WA in 1958. Residing in Four Lakes, Walter built his business Kiger Auto Repair, owned and managed many rental units. During this time Dorothy was Walters assistant and homemaker.
They leave behind daughters Nancy (Ron) McConnell, Sandra Kiger; grandaughters Nichole (Jeff) Johnson, Dawn Fleming, Kendra Morrison; six cherished great-grandaughters Samantha, Ashley, Paige, Katelyn Johnson, and Serena Fleming. Dorothy's sister Jean Jones.
They were preceeded in death by infant son Donald Kiger, daughter Linda Caldwell, and grandaughter Shannon McConnell.
Memorial Service will held at a later date.
