Aunt Erma was always there for me. I loved her and will miss her.

Aunt Erma, you will be missed by all of us who loved you so much! You filled our lives with so much joy and so many memories. You were my favorite aunt and were so cool to a boy from small town Spokane. You had flocked Chistmas trees, while the rest of us had green, that was cool. After you got a divorce, you were the first person I ever knew who lived in an apartment, that was cool. When you met Don Carter, he drove an Eldorado (no hump) and flew a plane, that was cool. You were one of the first mothers who worked full time; banquets at the Ridpath Hotel and you drove a Camero, that was cool. We had a lake cabin at Diamond Lake and I remember you'd make Lime Daquiris and drink them while laying on an air mattress by the side of the dock, that was cool. Some thought you looked like Judy Garland, I did, that was cool. You had a temper too. I remember all of us cousins wrestling in the dark after Thanksgiving dinner in the basement at Houston Street and breaking one of your Hummels...whoa did we get it! That wasn’t so cool! When my mother became ill, you stepped right in and had her move next you to in Yakima so you could look after her, that was cool. I will never forget all you did for her and my brother Bill and I during that time. I will cherish your memory forever. Rest in Peace. Greg
