Entered into rest on March 30, 2011 in Spokane, WA. Evelyn was born to Harry O. and Grace (Grosse) Parker on July 14, 1922. A graduate of Spangle High School, Evelyn loved Spangle. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert, her parents and by brother-in-law, Bill Schieche. She is survived by her sons, Robert "Ken" Hardesty of Spokane Valley, Ron Hardesty of Spokane, and Wayne Hardesty and his wife, Mary, of Wake Forest, NC, and their family; brother, Ken Parker and wife, Peggy of Spokane; sister, Lorna Schieche of Spangle, WA; many nieces, nephews and cousins, of whom she thought the world. Evelyn had many interests. She never missed a televised Gonzaga Basketball game, annually entered plants at the Interstate Fair-winning numerous ribbons and awards, and enjoyed playing Bridge with several bridge clubs and later with friends at Manito Club. She didn't miss many country music concerts when they came to town. Evelyn was an active member of the Spangle Birthday group and a past member of the Rosalia Garden Club. A graveside funeral service and interment will be held on this Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Spangle Cemetery, Spangle , WA, with Pastor Larry Mix officiating. Memorials may be made to the Spangle Cemetery Association. RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME in charge of arrangements. Guestbook: www.riplinger.com
