BROWN,Evelyn

Evelyn M. "Sully" Brown (age 88) went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 6, 2011. She was born on July 2, 1922 to George and Mae Sullivan in Butte, MT. She is survived by her children: daughter, Vonnie Lingg and sons, Ted and Kelly Brown; her grand-children: Carla White, Marla
(Bryan) Smith, Jason (Alise) Borowczyk; Brandon (Stasha) Brown, and Jennifer Lingg; her great grandchildren: Ryan Abitz, Aeron Borowczyk, Andrew Borowczyk, Kendell Borowczyk, Hailey Brown, Chance Brown; and Cadence Smith; her beloved cousin, Vesta Wieglenda; sisters-in-law, Althea "Babe" Sullivan and Tina Dosen; aunt, Viola Beyer; her special friend, Tamara Buchanan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Ted Brown, in 1997, her beloved daughter-in-law, Aundre' Brown in 2007, and her brother, Jack L. Sullivan, in 1983. Evelyn married Ted in 1942 in Butte, MT. They moved to Spokane in 1945 after spending 3 years in Sacramento, CA. She was employed at Newberry's for several years as a sales clerk. The family wishes to extend a special "thank you" to Sullivan Park Care Center for their loving care. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 503 N. Walnut, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
