(Age 82)
Passed away peacefully on March 23, 2011. Fern was born of Louise and Adelard Normandeau on June 10, 1928 in Red Lake Falls, MN, where she enjoyed a wonderful childhood. She and husband Donn lived in many towns over the years, but they made Spokane their final home in 1965. Fern enjoyed doing repairs around her home, gardening and travel. She was happiest when surrounded by her children. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Bennett, brothers Fritz Martell and Keith Normandeau, and sons Daniel and Bruce. Fern is survived by her son Steve Bennett and his wife Lisa, daughter Barbara Geib, son Bill Bennett, granddaughter Arica Dawe, and great-grandchildren Riley and Alex. She will be missed greatly by her family and all who knew her. A private graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Xavier Church, or to a favorite charity.
