Helen Triber Obituary

TRIBER,
Helen "Sam" (Age 82)

Passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 in Spokane Valley WA. Helen was a wonderful person who felt strangers were just friends she hadn't met. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. Helen had many things she was passionate about but two of the main ones were antiques and gardening (damn those weeds). An outdoors person she loved the water in summer and snowmobiling in winter. Sam also supported her husband Darrell's love of motorcycles from taking tickets to running the concession stand. Friends and family gatherings were extremely important and her pies were always a hit (lemon meringue and apple). She was deeply loved and will be missed. Helen is survived by her son Roger Bang; daughters Chris (Ed) Strozyk and Tami Chiesa; brothers Dick and Emer Butt; sister Gevie Thompson; grandchildren Patrick R. Bang, Sarah Louise Bang, Shannon (Sarah Chickering) Strozyk, Eric (Courtney) Strozyk, Amelia Francesca Chiesa and Michael Keith Chiesa; great-grandchildren Haleyna Grace Chiesa and Fiona Belle Strozyk; and beloved dogs Katie and Kinsey. Sam was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years Darrell Triber. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home, 1315 N. Pines Rd. Please sign Helen's online guestbook at www.hennesseyfuneralhomes.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to:

Sam was a wonderful woman who always had a ready smile and helpful hints for me when I was a new wife and mother. I could always count on her for the occasional perm and manicure as well! Butterflies in heaven!

Sam has been a treasured friend to our family for many, many years. She will be deeply missed. Some of my favorite memories are summer days at the float house and cheering for Darrell along sider her the track. May your memories bring all of you peace and ease your pain. She was a beautiful person.

Helen will deeply be missed. She was a wonderful caring person and loved by so many. To the Family Rodger, Tamie and all the kids we are so very sorry for your lose and the hurting that you are going through. Nothing can ever take the hurt away but the wonderful memories that you have of your mother will help you with some of that pain. At least I know that memories help our family when we are missing the ones we love. We are thinking of you all and again we are deeply sorry. From Lorri & John Kilduff, Randy Helt and Gale Helt.
