(Age 95)

Passed away March 15, 2011 in Moses Lake, WA formerly of Odessa, WA. He is survived by his daughter- in-law Jean Oster of Spokane Valley, WA; two grandchildren Debbie and Brett Saling of Spanaway, WA and Neil Eisenbarth of Spokane, WA; along with two great-grandchildren Megan and Hannah Saling. He has two sisters, Clara Haase and Roseann Cramer both of Odessa, WA; and one cousin Molly Litt-Jess of Moses Lake, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Olga in 2006, son Aldon Oster, his parents and five brothers Peter, Jacob, Fred, Eugene, and Reiny. He is a member of the Heritage Church, Odessa VFW Post 7395 and the American Legion, he was a WWII Army Veteran and received a Presidential Citation and two Bronze stars. Graveside service, Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00AM at the Odessa Cemetery, Odessa, WA with Pastor Jon Hayashi, officiating. Memorials may be made to the Heritage Church or the Marlin Cemetery Fund, Marlin, WA. STRATE FUNERAL HOME, DAVENPORT, WA is caring for the family.
