I was one of Bruce's many childhood friends; Bruce was a genuine person who really cared about those around him. He always made you feel like you were his best buddy, it was just the way Bruce was. I heard this sad news from one of our mutual childhood friends and felt like “oh my gosh! I always thought I'd run into Bruce. Well I'm just gonna have to wait, cause I know Bruce probably never changed from how he was when we were kids, he just had a caring way and shared the spirit of Christ in his actions and words. God Bless James Bruce Perno and his family!
