Of Coeur d'Alene passed
away Saturday, May 14,
2011 in Spokane. He was born October 11, 1937 in Ft.
Benton, MT to Clarence and Rose (Nagengast) Pugh.
James was retired from Great Northern/BNSF
Railroad. He was a member
of St. Thomas Catholic
Church in Coeur d'Alene. He enjoyed his family, fishing, traveling and toddy-time. He loved spending time with his friends in Idaho and California, gardening, and beating his family at cards. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shirley, at home; his sons Michael Carlman of Puyallup, WA and Patrick Carlman of Milwaukie, OR; his daughters Sherry Cook of Salem, IL and Janine Mardell of Newnan, GA; a brother Roger Pugh of Turlock, CA; sisters Norma Olivarez of Harlingen, TX and Cleo Pool of Waco, TX; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 919 E. Indiana, Coeur d'Alene. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 920 N. Washington St. # 200, Spokane, WA 99201.

To Jims family,
I worked with JIm for 38 years on the GN and BNSF. He was a hard worker and a pleasure to be around. He will be missed.
