Josephine S. Rohme passed away January 22, 2011 in Spokane, WA. She was born February 9, 1926 in Spokane, the daughter of Joseph and Susana (DiLuch) Priano. Josephine is the sixth of seven children, all who grew up in Spokane. Josephine met her husband Wayne Rohme in 1950 and married in 1951. Their marriage was of 60 years. In 1958 their son, Mike was born. Josephine worked for Tidyman's after Mike grew up and was their Food Demonstrator. She was known as the pizza lady serving pizza and flaunting her Italian Heritage while wearing her green, white and red Italian hat. Wayne and Josephine's passion was being with the American Italian Club where their lives were enriched with close friends and social gatherings. Josie loved to dance and her laughter and humor brought smiles to everyone she came in contact with. We love her and will miss her. Josephine is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Wayne Rohme of Spokane; son Mike (Teresa) Rohme of Spokane; brother Tony (Marge) Priano of Spokane; sisters Mary Pohle and Francis Good both of Spokane; and grandson Cameron Rohme of Los Angeles, CA. Visitation will be held Friday, January 28 from 12-5pm with Vigil Rosary services beginning at 5pm all at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 11am and will be celebrated at Gonzaga Prep School Chapel, 1224 E. Euclid, Spokane. Committal will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 N. Wall Street. Memorial contributions are suggested to S.C.R.A.P.S., 2421 N. Flora Rd., Spokane Valley, WA 99216.
