"Laddie"
(Age 80)
Passed away on March 31, 2011 in Odessa, Washington. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, at the home; one daughter, Juli (Robin) Weishaar of Odessa, WA; daughter-in-law Debbie Schafer, Spokane, WA; five grandchildren: Jeremy (Melanie) Schlimmer, Jake Schlimmer, Megan Clark, Nicholas (Kim) Weishaar, and LeeAnne (Harrison) Nikolao; four great-grandchildren: Hadyn and Carter Schlimmer, Zoe and Joshua Clark, numerous nephews, nieces, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Con and Hattie Schlimmer, two sons: an infant son in 1965 and Bill Schlimmer in 2002, his brother, Roger Schlimmer and his sister Myra Juris. He was a member of the Marlin Presbyterian Church. He was a Korean Conflict Veteran with the US Army. He was a member of the Odessa American Legion Post 105 and of the Ritzville Veterans of Foreign Wars. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Christ Lutheran Church, Odessa, WA with Dr. Rev. Chester R. Dorsey, officiating. Memorials may be made to the Odessa Healthcare Foundation, POB 368 Odessa, WA 99159 or charity of choice. STRATE FUNERAL HOME, DAVENPORT, WA is caring for the family.

As we walk through our days we remember all the wonderful times spent with grandpa Laddie. As our hearts fall sad, we remember that our God is great. And we are so blest because of this mans life.
