Mary Lapoint Obituary


LaPOINT, Mary M.

Mary Margaret LaPoint, 69. Born in Spokane, WA December 28, 1941. Passed away February 12, 2011 near Mt. Spokane.
A generous spirit with lifelong friends, Mary worked as a waitress in Spokane for many years, first at the old Showboat Restaurant in Spokane, and then the Hungry Farmer in Spokane Valley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom LaPoint, in December 1988. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Sue LaPoint
( I love you, Mom ); two brothers: Elmer Wright of Rathdrum, ID, and Joe Wright of Dalton Gardens, ID; two sisters: Sue Ellis, Mead, WA, and Beta Brewer, Coeur d'Alene, ID; and several nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by long-time neighbors Bill and Bobbie Svoboda and her co-workers Carol, Rita, and Linda, and long-time friend Robert Root.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 21, at the cemetery in Waverly, Washington. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spokane Humane Society.
