(Age 54)

Passed away on February 7, 2011 in Spokane, WA. Mike was born in Bakersfield, CA on May 30, 1956.
He grew up in various cities in California where he gathered many fond memories of his childhood. He was working for Greyhound Bus Lines when he transferred to Spokane in 1982. It was there that he met his wife, Patricia. They were soon married and spent 26 years together raising two wonderful children. He also worked at Bargain Giant for 19 years as a meat department manager. Mike enjoyed being outdoors, bird watching, camping, stargazing, or just going for long walks while collecting golf balls.
Michael is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Danielle and Ryan; mother Marilynn Havens; father Bill Kerrell; mother-in-law Ingrid Zeppenfeld; sister Lynda (John) Formiconi; brother Steve (Andrea) Havens; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. his best friend and father-in-law Artur Zeppenfeld preceded him in death. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Sunday, February 20, 2011 in the Sunset Chapel at Fairmont Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Providence Sacred Heart Foundation.

Mike was such a great guy to work with, he always made my day fun. We had a good time playing jokes on eachother, and sharing our stories of the day. I will really miss him.
