This is about 10 years late, but I thought of her in this political atmosphere of a few Americans who are so unkind to Asians. When I worked at Shriner's Hospital as a teen, Misako was so kind to me and others. I'm glad she had a lot of loving people in her family. She could rearrange flowers from donated bouquets to be shared to every desk in the hospital. She was willing to share knowledge with anyone and never said a cross word that I heard of. Mary Hayashi worked there, too, and was a lovely woman. I'm an old white woman now, and we need to treasure all races and appreciate the hard work and kindness of all. Gail Tuke Kersey, 3/24/2021
