I think about you more than any man I've known. You know how much I miss you because I'm certain your watching right now. BTW, I visited you at Medical Lake (just in case you were out and didn't know). Had a little cry and a chat. Got some great pictures I know you'd like. I'll show them to you some day.

I wanted to share a little of what was important to Noel which was music. It was the greatest thing I received from him. He always burned cd's to put in my car. These songs are very dear to me and have helped comfort me in these hard times. One of my favorites is Gordon Lightfoot's "If you could read my mind". He could sing this song and sound just like Gordon. I wish he could sing it to me one more time. Five for Fightings "Superman" is another one that touches my heart. I could go on and on but the last one I will post is "Home" by Edward Sharpe. This last song was picked by Noel as "Our Song". I hope these can give comfort to all who were affected by his death. Love u Mr. Ramey :)

Doc Ramey. Boy did they ever break the mold when they made you. All your Scouts, and everyone you've served with, and family and friends alike will remember you forever, a true brother. Rest well friend.

"Goodnight, sweet Prince.
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest."
And more applicable...
"This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day."
Godspeed Doc.

Noel, I never met you - but since your passing, I've met several of your comrades who served by your side in the desert - one of which is my closest friend, who clearly is in mourning and he misses you. Thank you for your service to our nation and may you rest in peace.

Noel I have never loved a man more than I love you. Although our relationship had its ups and downs I never stopped loving you. I miss you terribly and hope that when my time comes we will be reunited. Your goal on valentines day was to make it the best I ever had and it was. I was so happy not just for the gift but for your caring attitude and making me feel special. You always made me smile and laugh. I miss you so much that it hurts. Thank you for coming into my life and for being so generous to me and my son. I love you the mostest. (inside joke). Good bye my love.
