Patricia Burdett Obituary

BURDETT, Patricia Jean (Case)
April 26, 1929 - March 27, 2011

Patricia Burdett passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 27, 2011 with loved ones by her side. Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother "Pat" left this earth to join the love of her life, "Bob" Robert D. Burdett, her father Lloyd Byron Case, her mother, Nellie Louise Knutson Case and her daughter Jill Diane Burdett (Turner) (02/11/1954 -12/19/2010). They are probably playing cards in Heaven right now! She left behind her daughters Jeannie Burdett Hicks (Jim Hicks), Judy Burdett Rose, son Bob Burdett, stepdaughter Suzi Aird, stepson Jeff Decker, 18 grandchildren and many great- grandchildren of whom she was so proud. As a loving mother, she wanted to always be surrounded by family. With Bob, Pat raised her family on their dairy farm in Trout Lake, WA until they moved to Helena MT in 1960. Her family has lived in Spokane since 1967. She was proud to work for Bertis Realty where she was a secretary for many years. Pat organized and led the "Knifty Knitters" group at the Senior Center where they make caps and blankets for children and the homeless. She volunteered in her church and was always thinking and caring for others. She was a happy positive person and spread good vibes wherever she went. Her kind heart and beautiful smile will be sorely missed. She (and we) would like to thank the entire staff at "Twilight Manor". In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations in her memory be made to "Beyond Grace Fellowship". The world is richer for having known Patricia for 81 years but Heaven has an upgrade now. In her honor, a "celebration of life" will be held at Beyond Grace Fellowship on April 10th at 4pm at 1012 S. Freya St.

I will always remember Pat's beautiful eyes and smile when I think of her when I was growing up in Trout Lake. She remained a dear friend of my mother through the years and she will be missed by so many...a wonderful obituary paying tribute to her great life...God Bless all her family as they picture her in a better place and watching over them as their angel...Margi Burdett, Bunger

She was small but strong, I will think of her often in the future sometimes with a smile, sometimes ill be sad. So long Pat keep them straight up there. " Gus Rose

We missed far too much of Pat's earlier life, but came to meet and enjoy her on a number of occasions in the past decade. Her smiles, patience, and sympathetic concern for friends and family leaves us with everlasting memories. We always felt that we were considered a part of her family and always enjoyed being with her.
Our love to her always,

Grandma Pat was the sweetest woman and always had unconditional love for everyone around her. She was extremely kind to me as a child and taught me many things. I'm so sad I hadn't seen her in a few years before her passing but I know the angels and spirits in heaven are enjoying her.

Whenever we were around Pat we noticed that she always loved her family and friends unconditionally. We felt that she must be one of Gods chosen because we never saw her other than in a spirted mood. God blessed us for having known her.
