Ron and I went to North Salem High School together and shared a couple of classes. I will always remember his smile and the way he treated everyone with respect. He had a great sense of humor and was liked my everyone. It was clear even then as an high school student, he loved friends family and country and I was proud to know him.

I am so blessed to have been raised in a wonderful family with two special big brothers. I am very thankful to say that Ron Morgan was a great example to me. He was a great brother, son, father and husband. My children loved him and were proud to call him uncle. My husband loved him and was proud to call him brother. I will so miss his phone calls with family updates, opinions about what is going on in our country, and always caring about what is going on with me. It was an honor to spend the last 4 1/2 days with him in his final days here on this earth and witness the undying love, devotion, and service his family unselfishly gave to him. He has now completed this earthly test and has been reunited with our parents, grandparents, and his son, Ryan. I bet he, Ryan, our dad, and our Grandpa Morgan have all been playing baseball together. I love you, Ron, and will miss you.

Ron, you rascal! We lose track of each other for over 40 years and through the grapevine I get your picture from a mutual friend. NOT the way I would have wanted to hear about you and your life, but if anybody left a positive legacy it would have been you. We had some great times, didn't we? We were just kids but you taught me about baseball and I was in your home a hundred times...literally. Your folks were always patient with me even when I didn't learn your skills. We hiked together in Scouts, had many laughs at church, always had the best of feelings, and even as North Salem High School came and went I have always remembered you with fondness. Wish I could have known you throughout a lifetime. You always had the "right stuff" and I'm sure you still do. Some people just "have it" and you are one of them. Keep them Pearly Gates open for me, brother. I'm older than you so can I be far behind? Love you, Ron. Miss you and we haven't even talked since the 1960's. Maybe we can make up for that one of these days. ...But I'll probably still not learn your skills.
God bless you and your family. Say, "Hi," to Elmer, your dad. I've missed him too.

I was shocked to see that Ron had passed away. I went to North Salem High school with Ron. I remember his fun loving and kind nature. Ron was a very special person and a good friend. Through the years I have tried to contact Ron but was not aware that he was in Spokane. My heart goes out to his family...I know that he will be missed.

Ron was a very nice young man and turned out to be a very nice adult. I really enjoyed knowing him all those school years and getting to see him again and to meet Dana at our last class reunion.
Ron will be missed by all of his North Salem classmates - he was truly one of the good guys!!

Ron and I went to North Salem High together, he was 2 years ahead. Ron didn't know me then but I knew him because of his popularity and his great baseball playing. Years later I met Ron while we were going to Chemeketa taking their drafting course. Ron and I were then hired by CH2M and commuted together from Salem until you guys moved to Corvallis. Ron was a great guy I am proud to have known him.
