Amril Radford

RADFORD, Amril P. "Rudy" (Age 84) Passed away May 14, 2010 in Spokane, WA. Rudy was born October 7, 1925 in Marlin, TX and moved to Mesa, AZ as a young child. Following his service in the US Navy (1943-50) he relocated to Tucson, AZ where he met and married Joan Potts. After many years in Tucson, Rudy and Joan moved to Spokane in 1998 where they could be close to their daughter and her family. Rudy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joan Radford of Spokane; daughter, Dianna Lyn Chelf and husband Jim; granddaughter, Fielding Chelf and great-grandson, Amril Chelf, all of Spangle, WA; three sisters, Wanda Benjamin of Florida, Walsie Duffett of Arizona, Wilda Jones of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his canine companion, Buddy. Funeral Services will be at 2 PM on Thursday, May 27, 2010 in the Alwin Chapel at HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME, 1306 North Monroe St. Burial will be at the new Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake at a future date.
