Frank FISCHER Obituary
age 69, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015. He was born in Newark, NJ, moved to Lake Tahoe in 1982 before moving here in 1992. He was a life member of VFW 10209 and a Disabled American Veteran having served during Vietnam in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a proud American who loved fishing, gardening and golf. Frank adored his grandchildren. He is predeceased by his sister, Denise Kreisler. Frank is survived by his wife of 44 years, Donna; three children, Frank (Ashleigh) Fischer, Tiffany (Carl) Rosciti, Brittany Fischer; two brothers, Steven and Glenn Fischer; sister, Lorraine Stronski; six grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Reece, Madilyn, Makayla, Frankie; and loving family. Visitation will be held Nov. 18, from 2-4 and 6-8 at 280 Mariner Boulevard. Funeral Mass will be held Nov. 19, at 10:30 am, at St Joan of Arc with burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. See full obit and sign guest register at

I found out about BBE and your commitment to this GUI / OS a while ago. Thank you for your support of GEOS, you helped FreeDOS stay alive too. Everbody who is starting up BBE in future is doing so, because you gave them the chance. This is not something to be forgotten. I am sure people who got to know you can be proud you touched their lives. Thank you for being with us, sir.
My condolences go out to the family, I wished I had had Mr. Fischer in person. Greetings from Germany, Europe.
