Joseph Kofron Obituary

KOFRON, Joseph Franklin "Frank", 59, of Tampa, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012. He passed away at home surrounded by the love of his family following a long illness. He was born in Richmond, VA, and come to Tampa in 1954. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He graduated from Plant High in 1970. After graduation he went to work for Publix where he remained employed for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his father; his mother, Margaret Kofron; his daughter, Briony Larine. He is survived by his loving family, sister, Rosemary Kofron; brother, Edward Kofron; nieces, Celeste McDaniel, Jennifer Rodriguez, Lara and Julia Kofron; his great nieces Amanda and Emily; and great nephews Alex, Andrew, and Matthew. The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Wednesday, Feb. 29, at Blount Curry MacDill Chapel, funeral services will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church at 10 am Thursday, March 1, with interment to follow at Garden of Memories.
