My husband and I lived Mary and Jim and they were terrific neighbors. My best memory of Jim was at an Easter party we had in our cul de sac and I put bunny ears on him. At first he didn't think it was too funny but I think as the day went on he came to like them. We are praying for his family and wish we could be there.

I had the good fortune to meet Mr. Randall early into my tenure as an administrator in Hillsborough County. Although some might have viewed him as a rough and tough individual who was often referred to as the "General" --- I found a dedicated, compassionate and professional educator who took great pride in serving as a mentor. I will always remember his encouragement and wonderful advice. And, I will always appreciate his friendly smile and genuine sincerity when he asked, "How are things going?" He was a strong and committed leader in the Hillsborough County School District who influenced many future leaders and made a significant differece in the lives of students and educators. May he rest in peace. I will keep his family in my prayers at this time as well as in the days to come.
