Dear Mary and Family,
I am truly sorry to hear of Jim's passing. It was an honor and a privilege for me to have known you and Jim. I only wish we could have spent more time together. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
Your friend,

My husband and I lived Mary and Jim and they were terrific neighbors. My best memory of Jim was at an Easter party we had in our cul de sac and I put bunny ears on him. At first he didn't think it was too funny but I think as the day went on he came to like them. We are praying for his family and wish we could be there.

Brandon High School Class of 1964 express their condolence to the family and friends of Mr. Randall. He left us a lot fond memories of the time we spent at Brandon High School with him.

I had the good fortune to meet Mr. Randall early into my tenure as an administrator in Hillsborough County. Although some might have viewed him as a rough and tough individual who was often referred to as the "General" --- I found a dedicated, compassionate and professional educator who took great pride in serving as a mentor. I will always remember his encouragement and wonderful advice. And, I will always appreciate his friendly smile and genuine sincerity when he asked, "How are things going?" He was a strong and committed leader in the Hillsborough County School District who influenced many future leaders and made a significant differece in the lives of students and educators. May he rest in peace. I will keep his family in my prayers at this time as well as in the days to come.
