Not sure what to say?

Dear Mary and Family,
I am truly sorry to hear of Jim's passing. It was an honor and a privilege for me to have known you and Jim. I only wish we could have spent more time together. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
Your friend,
Donna Green

Aunt Mary,
Thinking of you & your family with much love during this sad time!
