Marshall Pask Obituary

MARSHALL ROY PASK, known to friends and family as Roy, a New Canaan resident for nearly 50 years died Friday, February 10. Mr. Pask, an advertising executive, was 88 years old. He was born in Greenwich, October 16, 1923, son of the late Marshall Woolhouse Pask and Alice Bagwell Pask. Mr. Pask enjoyed sports and riding in his youth, golf and gardening throughout his life. He spent many enjoyable times with family and friends at his home on Nantucket, MA. Mr. Pask graduated from Hackley School, Tarrytown, NY in the class of 1943. He served with the Fourth Infantry Division in Europe, making the invasion on D-Day 1944 and earned a Purple Heart Medal. Upon his return home he attended Trinity College in Hartford and graduated in 1950. Roy worked in sales in the textile field for the next eight years, but switched to advertising sales in 1958. He worked in this field for the rest of his life. Employed by Mademoiselle, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Holiday, Connecticut Magazine, Yankee Publishing, and eventually Roy Pask Media Sales which he started in 1985. Mr. Pask was predeceased by his wife, Patricia "Nancy" Quigley Pask; and is survived by his son, Marshall Roy Pask, Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Norwalk; twin daughters, Jennifer Pask of Nantucket, MA, and Jacqueline Pask of New Canaan, and a grand daughter, Collette Christiano of Nantucket, MA. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 111 Oenoke Ridge, New Canaan on Thursday, February 16 at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Pask may be made to the Macular Degeneration Foundation, Inc., P.O.
