Margaret Furman Obituary
Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother
Was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stuart Furman; beloved parents, Richard and Ann (Gumosky Dugan) Terwilliger; and dear sister, Frances Huntone. She is survived by her children, Deborah (John) Barker of Atlanta, GA, Richard D. Furman, also of Atlanta, GA, Michael (Jennifer) Furman of Elmira, NY; grandchildren, Alexis Barker, Amy and Kevin Furman; brothers, William Dugan, Robert Dugan and Mark Welser. Margaret worked for the Telephone Company for many years. She was the Vice President and Treasurer for CD Furman & Sons Contractors which her husband owned and operated. Margaret was an artist, a member of the First Baptist Church and volunteered at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. All services will be held privately at the convenience of her family. She will be laid to rest with her beloved Stuart in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY. A 'Candle of Remembrance' may be left for the family in obituaries at www.olthof.com

Peg was such a gracious lady. We will miss her and her straightforward way of looking at life. Our prayers are with Deborah, Rick and Michael and Amy, Kevin and Alexis today and in the days ahead. May all the happy memories shared bring solace.
