Mike and I worked together at FBIHQ and again after the 9/11 attacks. He was a dedicated, hard working FBI Special Agent who never lost his sense of humor. We all have lost a true patriot. My sincere condolences to the entire Resnick family.

I was a classmate of Michael's at both Bayside and Nicolet. We kind of shared the same last name, though were not related (my step-father was Resnick). He was a great person to know and I remember laughing with him quite a bit. He was serious, yet lighthearted. He was kind and considerate, a gentleman. I remember his smiling face. It is no surprise that he accomplished so much in his, too short, life. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with your family at this difficult time.

I worked with Mike for many years on different projects. He was a dedicated public servant and was alway thinking ahead to the next challenge. He was smart, charming, and technically savvy. Mike knew the value of teamwork and the value of a good laugh. I will miss him and what he represented. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

I met Mike in 1968, when I moved to Bayside, and knew him through our graduation from Nicolet. Mike was, even then, more purposeful than most of us, and had a sense of fundamental fair play that was clearly a harbinger of a career of service.
Mike defended the lives of millions, most of whom will never know his name, but will know they are safer for his selflessness.
For those of us fortunate enough to have known him as Mike, we will never forget his generosity, decency, and humanity. We will pray that knowing he will remain with us always helps you find some measure of comfort in your sorrow. As he was here for us, we are here for you.
