Larry Plank Obituary
Liberty, PA: Larry Plank, 75, of Liberty, PA passed away at home unexpectedly on December 3, 2014. Lawrence was born on June 12, 1939 in Liberty, a son of the late Lois (Moyer) and Lawrence Plank. Larry worked as a serviceman for North Penn Gas Co. in Mansfield for 35 years. His children, grandchildren and family were very important in his life. Larry was happiest when staying busy and enjoyed repairing small engines, woodworking, gardening, square dancing and having coffee with friends. Surviving are his four children, Jim (Melissa) Plank of Covington, Shelly (Renie) Plank of Mansfield, Lori (Paul) Johnson of Big Flats, NY, Billie Jo (Rhock) Johnson of Union Star, MO; 10 grandchildren, Trisha (Bruce) Tanner, Christopher (Amber) Plank, Samantha Plank, Kelsey L. Johnson, Christine Higgs, Rhyan Johnson, Teisha Johnson, Christian Johnson, Trista (Dennis) Loucks and Jami (Tim) Perry; five great-grandchildren, MaKenna, Parker, Arianna, Rheagan and Ally; five siblings, Joanne (Fred) Heyler of Morris, Norma (Robert) Pritchard of Walkerton, VA, Marlin (Diane) Plank and John (Sue) Plank all of Liberty, Donald (Pauline) Plank of Tioga; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Also his devoted canine companion, Sparkie. He was predeceased by two brothers, Arlan and Merlin Plank. Visitation is from 3-4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 6, at Nauvoo's St. Paul Methodist Church. Rev. Tom Harmic will officiate Larry's memorial service following at 4 p.m. Burial will be private in Salem St. Paul Cemetery in Liberty. In lieu of flowers, consider a memorial to St. Paul Methodist Church, c/o S. Heyler, 317 Linck Hill Rd. Morris, PA 16938 or to Animal Care Sanctuary, 11765 Rt. 6 Wellsboro, PA 16901 Zwicharowski's in Blossburg is assisting his family with arrangements. Share condolences at www.pepperfuneralhomes.com

Dad it doesnt get any easier, specially around the holidays and your grand daughters birthday because u passed away 3 days before it. I just wished you was here, i wasnt ready for you to go..i miss you soo much!!

I'm very sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I remember him from the time I was little girl and he was friends with my Aunt Ronnie and family, and a neighbor of mine. Prayer for all of his family.
