Troxell, Jay D.

Jay D. Troxell, 42, of 108 East Frederick St., Athens, passed away suddenly Thursday morning, December 3, 2015 at his parent's home in Lewisburg. He was born in Sunbury, November 15, 1973 a son of Jack L. and Evelyn (Geiser) Troxell. Jay was a 1994 graduate of Penn Tech in Williamsport and was a machinist at Hardinge, Inc. in Elmira, NY for 22 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister Daryl and her husband, John Bennett of Scranton, a maternal Grandmother Alice Geiser of Lewisburg, 3 cousins, Tim Troxell, Amy Goodwin and Nathan Clewell and numerous nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held Friday morning at 11:30 at the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Market & 8th Streets Lewisburg with the Rev. John H. Shaw, III officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will provide flowers and asks that donations in Jay's memory be made to either the SPCA, 2801 Bloom Road, Danville, Pa 17821 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
