Joyce Hankins Waldrop Joyce Hankins Waldrop of Culpeper, VA, passed away Monday, November 8, 2010, at the Woodmont Genesis Center, Fredericksburg, VA.

Joyce was born August 27, 1948 in Warrenton, VA, to Jesse Lewis Hankins and Roberta Dodson Hankins; she worked for many years at the Federal Reserve, the office of Samuel James Construction and with the law office of Button, Yeaman and Associates until her retirement in January 2009.

Survivors include her mother, Roberta D. Hankins of Culpeper, VA; daughter, Tricia Waldrop Belman and her husband Matthew of Fredericksburg, VA; grandchildren, Kenly Lorraine Belman and Charles Matthew Belman of Fredericksburg, VA; brother-in-law, Gary Webster and his wife Betsy of Doswell, VA; niece, Denika Berry and her husband Jerimy; great-nephew, Joshua Berry; and many cousins and extended family also survive.

Joyce was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Herbert Franklin Waldrop and her brother, Charles Russell Hankins.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Hwy., Culpeper, VA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in the Clore-English Chapel with Rev. Ron Young officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper, VA.
