Although I never met Ray, my co-worker Maryland Kirkley spoke of his great fondess and care for his 12 yr old grandson. Psalm 139 comes to mind as I consider, "all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be" - and may you all take great comfort in God's timing, as it is never premature or late. Grace and Peace to you in this sad time of loss.

I think of Psalm 139 when I consider the sad loss of your loved one. "My frame was not hidden from You,when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me,when as yet there was not one of them." I pray that the Sovereignty of God will provide much comfort in the weeks ahead. Although I never met Ray, what stands out is how my co-worker, Maryland Kirkley spoke of his great fondness for and devotion to his 12 yr old grandson. My prayers are with him specifically during this time.
Grace to You All.
