Martha L. Howard With the passing of Martha LaFoy Howard on November 2, 2010, the world has lost a true lady. Born in Robinson, IL on November 15, 1913, she died Tuesday in the Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center, where she received wonderful care from a staff of professional caregivers for over three years.

Mrs. Howard was retired from the Fairfax County Building Inspectors Office where she had been employed for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence LaFoy and Cora May Keve, her first husband and father of her children, Wilbur T. Clements, her husband, Douglas D. Howard and eight siblings.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna R. Hall and her husband, Bill of Locust Grove, Martha Ann Foster and her husband, Robert D. Foster of Spokane, WA and her son, Marc Clements and his wife, Melanie of Waterford, VA, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.

Interment will be in Culpeper National Cemetery.
