Barbara Lee Bolden

Barbara Lee Terrill Bolden Barbara Lee Terrill Bolden, 70, of Orange, died on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, Virginia.

She was born March 2, 1940, in Orange County, the daughter of the late Russell and Larue Belle Terrill. Mrs. Bolden was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church and was retired as a weaver from the American Silk Mill in Orange.

Mrs. Bolden is survived by her husband, Norman Bolden Sr. of Orange; five daughters, Patsy Bolden, Wanda Bolden Tyler and her husband, John, Cornelia Bolden Braxton and her husband, Eric, and Karen Bolden Carter and her husband, John, all of Orange, and Cassandra Bolden Rouse and her friend, Willie King, of Spotsylvania; one son, Norman Bolden Jr. of Orange; three brothers, Jesse, Clarence, and Oliver Terrill, all of Orange; four sisters, Serita Johnson of Orange, Marjie Stewart of Madison, Joyce Terrill and Deola Winston, both of Orange; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and longtime close family friend, George "Puddin" Long Jr. of Orange.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010, at the Shady Grove Baptist Church with interment to follow in Westview Cemetery. The Reverend Joseph Moore will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
