Laura Nethers

Wharton Laura Nethers Wharton 87 of Madison died Tuesday September 7,2010 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. Born December 17,1922 in Rappahanock county and was the daughter of the late John M. Dodson and Alberta Brown Dodson.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Earl Wharton, two sons: John Nethers of Stockton, New Jersey: Michael Nethers and wife Duggie of Culpeper, three daughters Diane Amos, Bonnie Cole and husband Lee, Nancy Sisk and husband Jimmy all of Culpeper. Four grandchildren: Lisa Hall, Jason Nethers, Robin Frazier and her best friend and grandson Jamie Sisk and wife Jennifer: four great-grandchildren: Davey Sisk, Allison Sisk, Bryan Preddy, and Dusty Sisk. One brother: James Hawkins of Catlett Virginia. She was preceded in death by a son: David Earl Wharton and four sisters: Jessie Pennell, Lucy Koch, Claudia Jenkins, and Libby Cargil.

A graveside Service will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday, September 9,2010 at Sperryville Cemetery. Preddy Funeral Home in Madison is in charge of arrangements.

Bonnie,
