Max Marker Obituary

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Max Melroy Marker, 70, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011.
Memorial services were held Friday, July 29, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123.
Maz was born March 20, 1941, in Scottsbluff, where he was raised, and was a 30-year resident of Nevada. Max graduated from Chadron State College. He was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan, "Go Big Red!" Max arrived in Las Vegas in 1982 via Western Airlines as their district sales manager. Max was known as a man of many jokes, his sense of humor and positive attitude. In 2000, he landed at Maverick Helicopter. Maverick became his second family. He loved being part of the team, what a great journey it was. His favorite time was with the boys and grandchildren and of course, football Saturday with The Huskers.
Survivors include his wife, of 47 years, Jacque; sons, Scot, Jason and Nathen; daughters-in-law, Jill and Jaime; grandchildren, Sierra, Logan and Kennedy; brother, Rich and his wife, Carolee of Scottsbluff; many relatives and cousins; sisters-in-law, Paula and family of Colorado, Maureen and family of Nebraska, Mary and family of Arizona; brother-in-law, Steve and family of Nebraska; aunt and cousin, Alyce and Tim and their families of Nevada and Minnesota.
