Ruby Irene Nagel, 83, of Scottsbluff, died Saturday May 9, 2009 at Regional West Medical Center. Graveside Inurnment service will be held on Thurs-day May 14, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff with Pastor Michael Stein officiating. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place at the Jolliffe Funeral Home Crematory. Memorials may be made to Prairie Haven Hospice. Ruby was born May 12, 1925 in Lewellen to Daniel and Oneta Goddro, they lived in North Platte and Alliance before moving to the North Platte Valley in 1929 where she attended Fairview School. Ruby married Clarence Eli for a short time, they later divorced, she then married Ray Nagel, Nov. 1, 1972. She worked various jobs in Kimball, Cheyenne, Wyo. and Scottsbluff; retiring from the Capri Motel in 1972.
Ruby is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Jim) Spencer of Minatare; grandchildren Christina (Todd) Karre of North Platte and Danielle (Tom) Modena of Gering; great-grandchildren Kassie Modena; Michael and Jacob Karre.
Her parents, husband, a sister and four brothers preceded her in death.
