Dave and the Cagney family will always have a special place in our hearts. From our SP barracks days, the birth of his children, watching them grow and how proud he was of their later accomplishments. Precious, precious. He will always remain in our memories, How could we ever forget our Alaska, Mexico and Lake Tahoe trips, football coaching days, fun and games at the Bayberry, Surf City Hotel and 2340, Weddings, Birthdays, backyard never ending parties. Could write a book on "Hats" photos. When I hear his name it makes me smile. Great Trooper, Great Man, Great Friend. Fran and I will always love you. Our condolences to the Cagney family.

Dave was a great guy and a dear friend. We had so many good times together, especially when travelling with the Bayberry Group. The stories just go on and on. He always found a way to help and make you laugh. Nothing was ever to much for him when it involved family or friends. He will be missed by so many, especially us.

Condolences to Dave's loving family. Dave and I have been friends since our service at the Tuckerton Station in 1965. With my family, we spent many wonderful fun fulled days "down the shore" and later at fun-filled parties with Dave, Elsa and lots of state police friends. Dave was a fearless and loyal member of the state police and indeed a fun guy to work with. I will miss you old buddy. Rest in peace until we all party again in heaven.
