I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father Steve. I remember how he came to all your basketball games at East Dover Elem many moons ago. He was always full of spirit. My sincere sympathies to the whole Fontanella family. May your father rest in peace.

I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Renee and the entire Fontanella family. While Steve will be greatly missed by his family he will also be missed by community. He touched almost everyone he met with his good will and smile. I will always look for him when we can again fish on our beaches.

Truly a sad loss. Lucie and Danielle, i remember how excited he was at the birth of your beautiful children. He loved being a grandpa. Your loss must be great . He was so well respected as a doctor at the hospital. I used to go to work in the AM and see him returning up Indian Hill after fishing early morning. We would wave and he had such a happy smile doing what he loved. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Cherish warm memories and hold him near and dear to your heart . These qualities which Steve consistently embodied are very real to me even after graduation more than 51 years ago and zero contact w/Steve in the intervening decades... My sister Diane lived at the Ortley House. Whenever I would visit, Steve would always be outside and waive hello. He'd sometimes say "I thought you were Diane". I remember kids all around and a happy and friendly person. My sister called him a farmer. I am very saddened to hear that he has passed away. My sincere prayers and sympathy go out to the family.

Dr. Font was a huge part of many of my childhood memories. I was always welcomed into his home and he and Renee made me feel like part of the family. I will always remember his smile and infectious laugh.....sitting in the front row of Lucie's games and cheering her on- he was her biggest fan. Dr. Font had a way of making everyone happy and feel special. I'll never forget him taking me on a family vacation to Florida because he knew my mom could never afford to take me. He had a big heart like that.....and I will always remember him like that. To Renee, Lu, Dan, Stephen, Jackie, and Andrea...and his entire family- I am sorry for your loss and words can not express how heartbroken I am for all of you. My prayers are with you.
