I was the president of Local 1000 Flint Glass Workers Union. When I went before Dick on a grievance I knew right from the start I would get an honest answer good For Corning and The Union. I also was co-caption for the LPGA at the Corning Country Club. I send my condolence to the family.
Knowing Dick was an honor for me he was a class act.
