Eunice,
We were saddened to hear of Don's death but rejoice with you that he is home with Christ. May the Lord comfort you with this fact and warm your heart to your future reunion in His presence.

Dear Eunice and Family,
Can one's heart be saddened and rejoicing at the same time? I believe it's possible!! My prayers are with you and your dear family in Don's Homegoing! He was truly one of God's special children, and what a dear friend to many of us!
The times at Malmo Free, the dinners together, and all the rest are such fond memories. May God surround you with His love, and care for you, is my prayer.

Gordon,
Faith and I were very saddened by the death of your dad. It leaves a big hole in life. We will see you Tuesday night and at the funeral on Wednesday morning.
It is times like this, that the Christian hope of heaven and eventually a reunion, is so helpful.
We love you

Eunice and family:
I was so sorry to hear about Don's death. It saddens me to hear about all the wonderful saints I knew from Central passing on. They were such a special part of my life there. Don was a kind and gentle man. I remember times when he was my pianist when I had to sing at church. And of course, he was one of the finest tenors in the choir! He used his gifts for the Lord and was an example to many. I will never forget how he came home from the cabin on Memorial Day in 1971 to be a pallbearer at my Dad's funeral. I was 14 at the time, but I thought that was a pretty nice thing for a person to do. Dad thought so much of him. It warmed my heart a bit to see the reference to "Western Oil and Fuel" in his obituary! Brings back good memories.
You will be in my prayers in the days to come. Rejoice that today Don is in the presence of the Lord whom he loved and served. We will all be together again some day. In the meantime, know you are sustained in love and prayer. God bless you. Debbie Mattson
