Christenson, Donald M. age 84, of Shakopee. Born in Tracy, MN. Preceded in death by parents and 1 brother. Don was a retired employee of NSP where he worked for 36 years. He was a veteran of WWII in the United States Navy with the Navy Sea Bee's where he served in the Philippines and Guam. He was a volunteer for many years for the Courage Center and PIPS at NSP. Donald was a member of Richfield American Legion #435 and Bloomington VFW Post #1296 and was a life member of the DAV. Survived by wife, Irma; son, Alan; daughters, Paulette (Charles) Pederson, Gaylyn (Rod) Wolf, Teresa (Stan) Von Bank; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral service Monday, 10 AM at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 8400 France Ave S., Bloomington. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation at the church after 9 AM Monday.
