Preceded in death by parents, John and Eleanor; brother, Leonard. Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Donna Mae; brother, William (Violet); children, Marcia (Jerry) Carstens, Kathleen Varner, Nancy Andreasen, and John Andreasen II; grandchildren, Jeffrey Carstens, Timothy Carstens, Kara Beth Varner, Matthew Varner; nieces and nephews. Interment Sunset Memorial Park, St. Anthony. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, March 22, 11 AM, Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 54th St. at 11th Ave. S., Mpls. Visitation will be Sunday, March 21, 2-6 PM at: Washburn-McReavy Nokomis Park Chapel 1838 E. Minnehaha Pkwy 612-721-1651

I heard of Phill's passing through Roy Steele, a fellow retired Police Officer. I knew Phill and Donna Mae when they ran the Tavern at 35th and Hiawatha. My condolences to Donna and the Family
