Katherine, you were one of my most favorite patients. Your soft voice and gentle smile will always be remembered. I have been thinking of you. I miss you so much. May angels hold you tightly.
Sorry for your loss Chris and family. Please accept my condolences.

my college life was enormously impacted by katherine's place in it. we shared so many moments of time watching movies, rocking on the porch, talking, and a great trip to austin together. U2 was an amazing experience and i think of it every time i hear them. i miss her so much and have since graduation. she still is a beautiful person to me. i'll never forget her and her kindness, generosity, forthrightness, compassion, and lust for life and its ridiculous complications. my love to the family she adored. blessings and peace be laid upon you. thank you for sharing your friend with me.

Steve and family, I am saddened by your great loss. I am familiar with your pain and offer an empathetic ear if you ever want talk. My love and support goes out to your entire family. A parent losing a child and a brother and sister losing a sibling are the most painful life experiences to ever have to face. You are all in my heart and prayers. As you were there for me, I am here for you. In time, may you please find comfort in knowing that Katherine is with God where there is no cancer. The Heavens shine brighter today.
With love and support, Barry Nustad

Andrew and Kristen, we do remember, remember Katy, for Her;
The Sweater
Bright and shiny as can be.
The Master Knitter makes us all - A Perfect Sweater.
Some are Red, some are Yellow or Blue; some even are Fawn.
We live our days and one day a thread breaks.
We stop the unraveling with a Safety Pin.
Now we are even brighter.
Brighter still, as more Pins are added.
Then one day we shine completely.
Our faces glowing in true Glory.
