Margaret Josephine Heisserer

Heisserer, Margaret Josephine (Jo) 85, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill and sister Frances Underwood. She is survived by the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren she loved, fed, and nurtured throughout her life: daughters Shirley Johnson and Teresa Mahoney; sons Tom, Gary, and Bill; grandchildren Brian, Steven, Chris, Sharon, Scott, Marissa, Ben, and Brittney; and great-grandchildren Darion, Jayda, Jack, Avery, and Kate. She is also survived by her sister Grace Hosey and brother, Robert Wooley. Jo was born in Waco, Texas, on March 11, 1925, to Robert Franklin Wooley and Emma Josephine Erickson. She attended Waco High School and the Four C's Business College in Waco. Jo was a gentle woman of extraordinary kindness who loved to cook bounteous meals, play bridge, and tend to the needs of her family. Visitation 4-7PM Monday, Nov. 1st at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, West 50th St. and Vernon Ave. at Hwy 100. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00AM Tuesday, Nov. 2nd with visitation beginning at 10:00AM at the Church of St. Patrick, Valleyview at Gleason Rd., Edina. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
