I am so sorry to hear this news. I was fortunate to have met Steve through our business and I believe we both came to value the friendship that was formed. Steve had an energy about him that really made people feel important to him and valued. I will always remember Steve and my sympathy and condolences to his family and friends.

Kelli, Keith, Steven and Mike - I am very sorry to hear about Big Steve passing. Steve had a way of making everyone feel like one of the family. He would always make time to cheer you up, give advice or just sit around and talk. I was never able to give him the ball-peen hammer he was sure I had but I will always remember him asking for it every time I stopped by. I will miss him very much and I’m thankful for the time I got to spend with him. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Kelli, Keith, Steven, and Mike - I am very sorry to hear about "Big Steve", as he was known to so many of us, passing. I will never forget all of the wonderful memories from Endurance Plus Hockey. Big Steve could light up any room and bring a smile to those who were down. He had a fantastic sense of humor and always made me laugh. I will miss him very much. Kelli, Mike, Steven, and Keith,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Steve was a HUGE part of Ben's life on and off of the ice. A parent always hopes for a coach for their son that can teach skills as well as character. We had that with Steve. HUGS to you all!!!!

Hi Kelli, Mike, Steven and Keith - I cannot even imagine what you are feeling right now. "Big Steve" as all of us friends of "Little Steve" can attest was a guy who was the focal point of any room. I remember many great times thru the years starting with him as my hockey coach. Being a part of the "Smurf" line with Little Steve and Nick Micek as squirts and Big Steve coaching us to that nearly perfect season. As a kid you did not realize what was going on in terms of the bigger picture - you just knew that you were playing hockey and having fun. When you get older you realize what a great gift "Big Steve" had to make sports fun and I know that he must have really enjoyed it because he was willing to do anything for his " hockey kids". As I got older I got to know Steve on a different level - no longer as a coach but just as a great guy. Listening to music in the garage or hearing an impromptu concert in the living room - Steve always made it fun. I know that he is looking down at you all with a big smile on his face. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Kelli ~ there aren't any words right now. Just sweet, quiet thoughts. Just like Steve. Staff and I only had the pleasure of meeting him a few times at Ron and Julie's, but I remember him as so gentle and genuine. Thinking of you as you celebrate his life right now (Monday). Sorry we couldn't make it to Ramsey, but want to get together soon to give you a big hug. God Bless all of you during this incredibly difficult time.

Dear Stephen and Keith, and Steve's loved ones, Having Steve as a brother in law while growing up, I enjoyed knowing him. He was always naturally entertaining no matter what he was talking about. He taught me how to finally play dust in the wind on guitar when I was only about 15. He also helped me to get one of my first jobs at his record keeping services job when I was a teen. I recall his lighthearted attempts to explain to me why his boss was concerned about my hairstyle, and nose ring. He was a great brother in law, I have many good memories of him. I am sorry he's gone. He can be with his Dad now. ~Michelle

Kelly, we are so sadden by the passing of Steve and we pray for the Lord's Peace to be with you and your family during this difficult time. I will miss the short conversations Steve and I had in the middle of the street but most of all I will miss the circus acts that Steve and Sonny put on playing in the front yard. Those two were funnier than “America’s Funniest Videos”. We will miss Steve dearly.

Boys, I know you are feeling a great loss, I know you are feeling saddness and confusion, and I know everyone is telling you things will get better in time. I know you don't believe that right now, but please believe me when I tell you it's true. Dad is in a place where there is no pain or saddness. You now both have your own personal angel. You always thought Dad could take care of any problem. Just imagine what your dad and grandpa together can do. You are in my heart and my prayers, Mom
