Lori was unforgettable for her intelligence, her warmth and her character. She was so funny and so outrageous at times and just as ready to poke fun at herself as at anyone else. Lori read other people very well and she didn't have a mean bone in her body. Lori was one of a kind.

I've known Lori as a co-worker and dear friend for many years. First when she was a chief clerk and I was a yardmaster.
She was always cheerful, helpful and accurate in her work. I along with others convinced her that she would make an excellent yardmaster. And we weren't wrong.

About a dozen years ago when I was going thru some personal challenges, she was always there to hold my hand.
Do to a personal injury this summer I've been out of touch and didn't know that she was now going thru some personal challenges of her own. I truelly wished that I would have known so that I could have returned the favor.

You will be missed by all who knew you.

Lori was such a great and caring person and her time with us was entirely too short - we were lucky to have known her. She will be greatly missed.

Lori was the kind of person who made you feel special and interesting. She was really funny, and one of the most genuine people you'd meet. She was one of my mother's best friends, and she will be so sorely missed by all who loved and appreciated her.

Lori-there just aren't people like you. You were one of a kind.

My prayers and condolences to everyone saddened by this tremendous loss.

I worked with Lori from 1989 to 1991 and she was always a positive, hard working person. She helped convince me to stay working with the railroad when I had my doubts, and she was always on top of it at work. I am sorry for your loss and hope her memory will help you through the hard days ahead.
