Hohn, Charles Edward Age 66. It was a beautiful day for fishing when Charles Edward Hohn passed away peacefully at his home in Woodbury, MN on July 28, 2012. Chuck was born on November 6, 1945 and is survived by his mother Margaret (age 97), his loving wife Katherine (Zierden), daughters Stephanie Addicks (Jeff), Jennifer Witcraft (Todd), stepchildren Kristen Wegwerth (Hugh), Sarah Marbarger (Doug), Mark Arnesen (Kim), and Matthew Arnesen, 7 grandchildren, 4 siblings and many loving friends and family. Preceded in death by his father Adam. Chuck was born and raised in St. Paul. He proudly served in the National Guard and made a lifelong career at United Scientific. An extremely passionate fisherman, Chuck lived to be in his boat with family and friends. In his spare time he enjoyed attending Twins and WILD games, vacations to Key West and trips to Montana to ski and raft. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at St. Ambrose Church of Woodbury at 10:30 AM with visitation at 9:30 AM. Donations, in memory of Chuck, may be made to the International Multiple Myeloma Foundation www.myeloma.org. We are grateful to all the family, friends, doctors and nurses for their support during his courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma.

Ten years already. Glenn and I still talk about Chuck. I always told him he reminded me of Sylvester Stalone. He would give me that smile. Miss you Chuck. To his family take care!

Chuck loved his family and friends and all were with him on this journey. He was the boss everyone wants to have and was a man of deep faith. He brought joy to each day whether planting a garden or counseling his children. I'm so grateful for the happiness and companionship he brought to Katherine's life. For generations people will be talking about this remarkable man.

Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to Katherine & the entire Hohn Family. Chuck was most certainly an avid professional fisherman and the friendliest person you ever wanted to know and fish with. I was fortunate to be in Chuck's fishing club many years ago and go on the many Vermilion fishing trips with Chuck and his two sidekicks; Johnny George & Vern Lunzer. Many great times. GOD Rest his soul.
