Hey Michael,
I think about you often. I still find it surreal that your not here. Well at least not physically. You will always have a place in my heart and mind. I have many fond memories which we still share. I will always remember your hearty smiles and laughter at Spencer and Kelly's wedding. As I look back I wish we would have talked more. Life moves on. Ryan just got engaged to Jen. We are all very excited and feel very positive about their relationship. Don't worry, you are invited to the wedding. Just don't show up wearing a sheet. Take care Michael, We will talk again. I miss you.

Mike, Dad and I spent a few days at the cabin this week in your honor. Thanks for all the signs that you were there with us.
The sun did shine each day on the lake and it reminded us so much of your smile and all that you mean to us. We miss you terribly, but know that your new journey has just begun.

I keep thinking of the things that Mike loved; cats and dogs, old movies, The Simpsons, playing games, writing, his family. He was such a unique person. You reminded me how great life can be, how joy is always attainable, how love can make anything bearable. I am so sad for your entire family. I hope you are consoled by the thought that Mike knew the depths of your love for him.

Hey Michael, I miss you. I have many fond memories beginning from the days at Grandview Lodge, camping in the Boundary Waters, through your hearty laughter while playing games at Spencer and Kelly's wedding. I will miss your hugs which I always delighted in.
I never got a chance to share this with you at the church, so I would like to share this now.

Mike was an amazing person. He truly touched my heart. We met in CMS and had some good times. Just reconnected last spring. We took a tour of EPHS this summer and watched some movies...laughing hysterically the entire time. This last fall we would talk quite often and he would make sure I had someone to vent to with my life in Las Vegas. I would listen to him about being an author, and the struggles with that. Mike was a truly amazing person, and I am blessed to have him in my life. We both shared the same love of LEGOS...We all lost a wonderful person, and I lost a Best Friend...I will always hold you in my heart.

It was a great pleasure and honor to know Michael. Ever since I met him, he became an integral part of my life. He was a scholar a lover a fighter and most of all a very close friend. He was like a brother to me and helped me get through the bad times and we celebrated the good times together. I will dearly miss him and God bless Michael and the entire family. I love you all. Mike, We shared alot of great memories over the years, I'm blessed that I had the pleasure to be a part of your life. Please accept my apology for not staying in touch. I joined Facebook a few days ago, wish that it would have been sooner.

God gives and God takes. This time he took a Great One from us. Seems just like yesterday that you were the end house on Lanewood Circles and the boys were just three of the many children that filled the streets with joy, big wheels, and ate all the ice cream that I enjoyed passing out. Wow - and now I spend my time on the beach looking at the ocean, the surfers, and fishermen wondering if some Lanewood Circle person will come jogging down the beach. My prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.

Even tho we lost touch after HS it was great getting back intouch and hearing about his book and the joy he had about future prospects for it. Michael will be dearly missed by everyone. Dear dear Mike . . . I am pretending that you didn't die. How else would I get through the day.? We were so wonderfully compatible and I treasured our friendship . . we considered it a blessing and a gift. . a thing of serendipity. You were my writing coach and mentor. . .more excited about getting my book published than I ever was! You so positive that "we" would get it on the market next summer. I can't imagine the difficulty of doing it without your support, but, in your honor, I will try.

When I picture Mike riding back with us from Chicago from the best concert of our lives in the worst rainstorm ever, with no fear in his eyes, it makes me smile all over again.
Mike Blesi, whom I met in college. It didn’t surprise me that he would write a book after graduation, and I found comfort knowing that it was published.
Those of us who knew him best talk about him often. I swear the funny stuff he did. It always makes us laugh.
After hearing about his passing, it makes me sad, though, Mike being gone.
I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be earthbound, that's all.
Their feathers are just too bright and when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was wrong to keep them here does celebrate but still, the place you live is that much more drab and empty now that they're gone.
I guess I just miss my friend.

I'm not sure if you remember me, but you came in a few weeks ago with Mike to discuss publishing his next book with Mill City Press with me. Although this was the only opportunity I was privileged enough to have a face to face interaction with Mike, between the meeting and all the email correspondence I know he was a very talented writer and genuinely sweet and sincere person as well. We were so looking forward to having the opportunity to work with Mike on his next book publication and develop not only our working relationship with him, but our personal relationship with him as well. His friend Carol Riley was kind enough to call me today to let me know the sad news of his passing. I was one of Michaels neighbors. I never got the chance to really know him, just a little small talk in the hallway and outside. I am saddened by his loss because he seemed like such a nice person. I will purchase his book now that i know he was a writer. May God bless Mike and all his loved ones.

I’ve been listening to Radiohead’s Kid A album almost non-stop for the last 3 days (it always reminded me of you.) There are not words descriptive enough to illustrate the sadness that Sara and I have been feeling since the 14th. The last 10 years we’ve known you have been great, whether catching a movie, coffee, concert or just hanging out playing Wii. I greatly appreciated the way you were never shy to tell us that you loved us and cared about us every time we saw you.
