Donna, Kyle and Shannon, our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will miss Bill and are thankful for his time here on earth. It is always painful when a loved one passes, know you are surrounded by many who care and are sending prayers of comfort.

Dear Donna, Kyle and Shannon,

We are so sorry for your loss. We just heard the news today so we were not able to attend Bill's memorial service and deliver our sympathies in person. Lisa's father passed away the week before, so we assume that is the reason we missed hearing about Bill's passing.

We have such great memories! Jake spent so much time at your house, especially back during their Prairie View days, and as the boys got older, through all of the sports teams they were on together! Bill brought tons of fun and laughter, but also a deep caring for all of the kids!

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Sincerely,
Bob,Lisa and Jake Moore

Bill, you were one of the most professional and polished hosts in television shopping. Your talent will be missed by many. You were always kind and respectful to the viewers and a pleasure to watch, even if I wasn't shopping. God bless you and your family. What a good man.

Very sad to hear of Bill's passing. He was one of the first people to treat me kind at Shopnbc and always cracking jokes in the hall between the studios. A very funny sweet soul that will be missed dearly.

April 30, 2010

My sincerest sympathy to Donna, Kyle and Shannon. I co-hosted the original Morning Show with Bill at ShopNBC from 2001-2004. Bill arrived daily sporting his Irish smile and a new "joke of the day". Bill often shared stories about his family....so proud of you all. May you find peace in your memories of Bill. Rest well, buddy...Joleen Benoit

For over 10 years, I always considered it an honor when I worked along side Bill Fahey. I simply adored his sense of humor and enjoyed watching and listening to him immensly. Listening to him try and pronounce many of the Italian words that we would use to describe the product was hysterical. Sometimes we couldn't keep from laughing and one of our mic's would need to be cut. Bill is a specail man. He was always made everyone feel so special. We send our deepest sympathies to his family and children and wish them prayers of strength to get through this.
We will miss you Bill.
Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I'll miss you
Until we meet again!

Bill and I worked together on ShopNBC for many years. He had such a great, wry sense of humor. We would joke about one thing or another right up until we went on the air. The hardest thing to do during our shows was keep a straight face, as we were constantly chuckling under our breath. He could make me crack up just by giving me "that look" as I was presenting to camera. You will be missed.

Bill always seemed to find the good in everything...a true optimist and a fine Irish man! He loved to open the sports page at the club and give you his full commentary which was always hilarious. He had a gift and that was to make you laugh and enjoy the day. His personality was contagious and he had a huge heart for his family. We will miss him dearly! Rest in peace Billy!

My deepest sympathies to the Fahey Family in the loss of Bill. I first met him 15 years ago as his model at ShopNBC. Later we ended up Co-hosting and Guest Hosting with one another and most recently he was "Around Town" TV's Voice Artist for my company Around Town Media, LLC. He was my mentor, coach, colleague and friend. An amazing man with a good heart and soul. His legacy in the Home Shopping Business will live on in our hearts forever. He loved what he did and perfected his craft with humor, knowledge, expertise, wit, and his natural gifts. He was very proud of his family. Thank-you Bill for the great times you will be missed.

I was still getting my feet wet in the industry when Bill joined us at ValueVision in 1992 or so. From that day I had not only the greatest mentor in the world but a friend. A kinder, more considerate man you never met. The very mention of his name to anyone at our company brought a smile and NEVER a negative word. That's the impact he had one everyone around him. Sadly in the industry he was in, there is nobody else like him. He will be missed but his smile and legacy will live eternally in a building in Eden Prairie and the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Dear Fahey Family:

My sister, Kristi Donovan, worked with Bill each morning on SHOPNBC. We quickly learned to watch and love Bill. He came into our living room each morning with a bright smiling face and warm personality. May God be with you during this difficult time and know that we are praying for you.

Donna, Kyle and Shannon:

Our thoughts & prayers are with you all at this sad time.

After talking to Bill you would always go away with smile. What we will remember most, is the way he would absolutely light up when asked about his family. He would always have a wonderful update about each of you! Bill cared & respected everyone in his life; but he knew his greatest gift was his family.

Bill, you lived a full & rewarding life during your short time here. Now it is time to rest in peace. You will be missed!

One of those guys you just can't say anything but good things about. Like others have said, he always greeted you with a warm smile and an upbeat view on the day. He was an absolute pleasure to coach with also! My heart felt condolences to Donna, Kyle and Shannon. May the great memories and laughter help you through this time.

Dear Donna, Kyle and Shannon:

We absolutely loved sitting next to Bill at Shannon's club and EP Varsity soccer/ LaCrosse games!! Always finding the best to say about everyone and ALWAYS greeting with a hearty hello... armed with several new jokes! It was easy to say hello as he always exuded a warm inviting presence. He seemed to attract a crowd with his wit and warm personality!! It is a very sad day when one understands such a hearty and FINE soul has moved on to better places.
We will always fondly remember Bill.

Bill was apleasure to watch on Valuevision and ShopNBC. He was honest, polished and had a fantastic dry wit. I have missed him terribly since he left the station as he was one in a million. From what I have read, he was devoted to his family and friends. My condolences to everyone who loved him.
